Epsilon Xi Chapter of Southern Georgia Gives Back Through Their Giving Thanks Annual Program

Every year in the month of November the Epsilon Xi chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. holds a "Giving Thanks" program. As an organization we understand the stresses that surround students tend to be higher around this time of the year and we seek to alleviate some of these with this particular program. Giving Thanks is a program where the chapter members cook a substantial amount of homemade Thanksgiving dinner dishes for the student body.

We have formatted this program to be one of a mellow, "at home" type of environment. Before we serve the campus we encourage various members of the audience to give personal testimonials of what they are thankful for to help others who may be down appreciate what they have and know that any situation is not as bad as you think it is. After we stimulate the minds of our guests we then make sure they all leave with full tummies! Nourishment is not only needed for the body but the mind and soul as well.
