Soror
(Dr.) Katheryn B. Davis received a “Distinguished Founder’s Award” from the Athens
Area Human Relations Council at its 35th Annual Martin Luther King
Jr. Awards Banquet on January 18, 2014 in Athens, GA. The theme was “M.L. King
Day: Citizenship and Service in Action”.
Dr.
Davis was described as “having shown a long standing commitment to human
relations and social justice” and quite deserving of this prestigious award.
Professionally,
Dr. Davis is an emeriti faculty at the University of Georgia; a licensed
clinical social worker and owner of CMC Services.
Soror
Davis is a charter member of Eta Omega Zeta; a Diamond Life Member; has served
Zeta faithfully at all levels: local, state, regional, national; a co-advisor
to Chi Epsilon Undergraduate Chapter and Zeta Amicae Auxiliary.
We
are so proud that Soror Davis is an integral part of Zeta and the Athens
community.
