An Evening of Mystery
Chi Pi Zeta hosted its Annual
Finer Womanhood Scholarship Ball on March 21,2014, raising funds for local High
School Scholarships.
Dr. Felicia A. Bell graciously served as the guest
speaker, with remarks on Finer Women in history. We then enjoyed a night of
dinner, dancing and fellowship. We would
like to thank the ladies of Kappa Iota Zeta, Alpha Theta Zeta and Iota Iota Zeta Chapters as well as the men of the Alpha Omega Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma
for their support of this wonderful event.
Celebrating Our Survivors
On May 16, 2014, Chi Pi Zeta supported our survivors at the
Liberty County Relay for life. Dressed in our “School Daze” attire with a Zeta
flair, we sold movie candy and raffled off a basket with all kinds of theater
goodies like movie passes, candy and popcorn, to help us reach our $2000
chapter goal.
It was an awesome night to
celebrate the survivors from our chapter Lucinda Wallace and Lilethia Smith.
March For Babies Community Awareness
Chi Pi Zeta chapter of Hinesville, Georgia, once again supported the March For Babies community awareness event in the prevention of preterm birth and the opportunity to give babies a healthy start in life.The local chapter supported Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated 2014 "Joining Forces" campaign, raising $1080.00 with the support of 20 walkers and volunteers.
We are proud to support March of Dimes as they continue to work with law makers in the implementation of programs and policies that support the development of healthy mothers and their babies.
